It’s time to make a difference! Allez Up will be participating in Earth Hour,an energy saving effort taking place world wide. Participants are asked to turn off all lights for 1 hour from 8pm to 9pm on March 29th 2008. Therefore, in order to respect and be involved in this movement, Allez Up will close, exceptionnally, at 7:30pm on Saturday, March 29th.

Congratulations to all the climbers who participated in the Quebec city bouldering comp on January 26th. There were some remarkable performances from Allez Up climbers, a few highlights:
- Cathy Laflamme: 1st overall in the Women’s open;
- Aryane Bouchard: 4th overall in the Women’s open;
- Geneviève Paquette: 1st in the Experienced category;
- Agnes Domanski: 1st in the beginner category.

First of all, we would like to thank everyone who contributed to the food drive. The donation was made in the name of Allez Up climbers to the Fondation Saint-Vincent de Paul. We would also like to congratulate the winners of the draw: Alec Henderson, Francine Baroni and Isabelle Goupil.

Please note that Allez Up will be closed on the following days:

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

- Allez Up is proud to announce that we will be doing a food drive for the holiday season. We will be accepting donations of non-perishable foods, as well as toys and children’s books from November 21st until December 10th (inlcusively). Moreover, in order to encourage you and thank you for giving, for every item you bring in, your name will be entered in a draw to win a 10 punch pass. The draw will take place on Friday, December 21st, and we will be giving away 3 prizes (10 punch passes - only 1 prize per contestant).

- As of November 14th, the price of a day pass for ALL climbers is 13,00$. There will be no more student day rate. Please note that all student pricing remains for 10 punch passes and 1, 3, 6 and 12 month passes.

Technical staff:
Instructors and support staff supervise the behaviour of independant climbers, give courses, and give accreditation tests.

- Must be accredited at Allez Up or able to pass the accreditation test in Tope Rope as well as Lead climbing.
- Have sufficient knowledge of Tope Rope climbing and Lead climbing.
- Must be bilingual
- Training and/or experience in teaching is an asset.
- Be available weekday evenings and weekends

Animation :
Animators are responsible for greeting and animating children’s and adults’ recreational activities.
 
- Must be accredited at Allez Up or able to pass the accreditation test.
- Must be bilingual
- Have some experience working with children.
- Be available weekends as well as some weekdays.

Reception:
Staff working at reception must greet customers as well as work and maintain the cash area.

- Must have adequate customer service experience. 
- Must be bilingual.
- Must be accredited at Allez Up or able to pass the accreditation test.
- Must be available weekday evenings as well as weekends

From Monday, February 19th until Friday, March 9th, 2007 Allez Up is open week days from 12:00 until 11:00 daily.  Weekends remain at 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Top rope accreditations can be done without reservations as follows:

Monday-Tuesday: between 4:30 until 8:30
Wednesday: between 2:30 until 8:30
Thursday/Friday: between 12:30 until 8:30
Saturday/Sunday: between 9:30 until 5:30
